The “European Blockchain Standardisation Day”, organised jointly by the EU-funded projects SEEBLOCKS & BLOCKSTAND, will bring together key stakeholders from policy, industry, academia, and standardisation bodies to showcase the achievement and leadership of the European blockchain standardisation experts.
This event, composed of panel sessions and working discussions, will reflect on the achievements, challenges, and future pathways for blockchain innovation and standardisation in Europe, on a wide range of topics such as Digital Wallets, Digital Product Passport, Digital Finance, Auditing of DLTs, Privacy and Security, Environmental, Social and Governance in blockchain, amongst others.
Andrea Caccia, UNINFO expert and Chair of CEN/CENELEC JTC 19 on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies, will chair a Plenary Session about DLTs supporting key European initiatives – Focus on EBSI and a Panel session regarding the Future Blockchain Standardisation Activities & Actions.
